Literature Text

She hums
She hums her breath it rolls
Off her tongue
Into the night so young

When she was but a child
She did play
Amongst the stars and caravans
Of stardust across the land

Whispering to the night
As it rolls off her skin
So dark and yet so pale
Through her heart rises this gale

Holding the sea tight
It's ever lapping grace
Wanting to take all of it in
She puts it to paper with a pen

With ink and quill she writes
Gathering the mist to her
Her naked flesh becoming
Almost invisible, the night tumbling

She hopes that someone might
Read her story, mysteries unfolding
The Sun does rise
Over the paper, the ink does dry
This one came to me early this morning. I hope you all enjoy it :D
